What is iReady?
iReady is a self-paced, online program that provides individualized instruction to meet each students' unique needs. The iReady program is used kindergarten through sixth grade at Mountain View Elementary. At the beginning of the year, students take a diagnostic test to determine each student's academic skills in math and reading. From the test, the iReady program establishes what the student's strengths are, as well as the skills needed to develop. Lessons are assigned by the iReady program based on how students placed on the diagnostic test, starting in the identified areas needing improvement. The iReady diagnostic test is given three times a year and is used as a way to monitor progress.

How does my child log into iReady?
Students log into iReady by going through the NCEdCloud portal. Students must use their username (school lunch number) and password to begin using the program. If students do not remember their login information, this can be requested from the child's teacher. Once logged into their NCEdCloud account, students have access to iReady and other additional programs. Students select "Clever" and then select the program they wish to use. Click the logo to the right to be directed to the Mountain View website. Then, click the "For Students" tab and go to "NCEdCloud Login" to begin.
